Washington Post Wine Club: Jefferson

Categories: , , Tag:

Not only was Thomas Jefferson a Founding Father of the United States, but he may as well be honored as the Founding Father of American wine. As a connoisseur of fine wines, he dreamed of growing grapes at his mountaintop estate, Monticello, and was a vocal advocate for the virtues of wine. We tip our hats to our third president with the Jefferson Wine Club, a mix of red and white favorites from established and up-and-coming wineries, giving you a taste of some of the most impressive wines in the world.
